What are “CAD Viewer Concurrent Network” licenses, and how do they differ from standard CAD Viewer licenses?
Concurrent licensing is a type of licensing that allows multiple users to use the software, but is restricted to how many of those users may use the software at the same time (i.e. concurrently.)
The CAD Viewer Concurrent Network license minimum configuration is for 10 concurrent users, and 25 installed workstations, called a “CAD Viewer 10/25 Network license”. The “CAD Viewer 10/25 Network License” allows the software to be installed on 25 workstations, and for a maximum of 10 out of those workstations to use the software at the same time.
Q. What is the difference between a standard 25 user CAD Viewer license and a CAD Viewer 10/25 network license?
A. The standard 25 user license allows all 25 users to use the software at the same time, whereas the 10/25 license only allows a maximum of 10 out of the 25 users to use the software at the same time. A standard 25 user license may alternatively be used to install the software on 25 user's PCs, whereas the concurrent network licenses are restricted to installation to workstations on the network.
Q. What is the difference between a standard 10 user CAD Viewer license and a CAD Viewer 10/25 network license?
A. The 10 user standard license only allows the software to be installed on a maximum of 10 workstations on the network, whereas the 10/25 license allows the software be installed on 25 workstations.
